Welcome to Beautiful Lee County
Located in the heart of
Southwest Florida!

Cape Coral is Lee County's largest and fastest growing city. Founded in 1957 this city is the second largest, in terms of land mass, in Florida. Cape Coral has seen phenomenal growth since it's incorporation in 1970. The population has doubles every decade, a 600% increase. With over 400 canals, Cape Coral is boater's paradise. Cape Coral has a wonderful climate, excellent health services, affordable housing, a low crime rate, top notch educational facilities, parks and recreation, and an increasing labor force. The city offers an unparalleled quality of life. Only about 1/2 of the land is developed so there is still a piece of paradise waiting for you!

Fort Myers got its start as one of the first forts built along the Caloosahatchee River in the early 1800's. A hurricane moved the fort to the current downtown location and there the city was incorporated in 1886. Growth radiated out in all directions from the old fort grounds during the 1920's. Prominent developments found there beginnings during that time. Although now modernized the Mediterranean Revival construction is found in many commercial buildings in the downtown area. Frame vernacular houses, Mediterranean Revival style homes, and several excellent Bungalow style architecture homes are found throughout the city. Home to Thomas Edison and Henry Ford, their winter homes are open for guided tours year round. This is one of several attractions that bring visitors to the Ft. Myers area. Steady growth, an outstanding climate, affordable housing, and low cost of living make Ft. Myers an attractive place to live.

The beautiful waters of Southwest Florida provide boaters a wonderland of places to explore. With hundreds of canals in Cape Coral, to the Ft. Myers banks of the Caloosahatchee river, boaters can travel to the tropical waters of the Gulf Coast or inland as far as lake Okachobee.  Southwest Florida is Boater's Paradise!
